The list gets longer by the day. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (Hover you mouse curser over the scripture references to read the verses.) We are no longer a Christian Nation People can't go out their front door without being afraid they will be a victim of a sniper shooting.
The fear of another terrorist act and biological warfare are part of our daily lives.
We are afraid to send our children to school because of mass shootings and well respected teachers in our public schools admitting to having sex with their teenage student.
I ask again What in the world is going on??? Is there anything in this crazy world that we can be sure of anymore. Are there any absolutes we can depend on???? Four things we can count on:1. God's Love will never change!John 3:16 Society's love is based on pleasing oneself. (Please me so I can love you.) God's love is not based on circumstance. God loves you regardless of who you are, or what you have done! ! ! Nothing about your circumstances can change God's love for you.
Romans 8:35-39 2. God has a plan for your life. A. Salvation: Romans 8:29-30Predestined means he arranged for you to be saved. Eph 1:4-5B. Prosper and Overcome! Jeremiah 29:11The world may have told you that you are a loser - that you will never amount to anything. God wants you to succeed. God forgives! Not only that, but He forgets the past. With God, everyone gets a fresh start with a clean slate.
3. God has a plan for the Church. "Upon this Rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it." 4. He is coming back! Make no mistake about it. We are in the last days and He is coming again. There's not a demon force of hell able to stop the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:1-3I Thes 4:16-17 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied it's power; and avoid such men as these.",
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.",
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Let the world live like they want to live, but rest assured He is coming back and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess - that Jesus Christ is Lord! Every Atheist will bow...
Every Powerful leader will bow...
Every Athlete will bow...
Every pop star will bow. . .
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD TO THE GLORY OF GOD! If you don't know Jesus as your saviour - if you have not asked forgiveness, I invite you to do so now. In a world where everything changes, our only hope rests in the one sure thing - God's love and forgiveness. |
